Giving World International Brings Hope to Aburi’s St. Elizabeth’s Home Through ‘Clothe A Child’ Project

Aburi, Ghana – April 26, 2025 — Giving World International (GWI) has successfully completed its flagship “Clothe A Child” project with a heartwarming donation to St. Elizabeth’s Home in Aburi- jamaicaso, Ghana, a children’s home housing nearly 50 children from ages of 1-25. The event, held on April 26, 2025, brought not just essential items, but smiles and renewed hope to the children in care

The donation, made with the directive of the Department of Social Welfare in the Akuapem South District, included a variety of much-needed items: clothes, school bags, shoes, water bottles, etc. Each item was carefully selected to ensure that the children, many of whom come from vulnerable backgrounds, felt seen and supported.

“We are deeply grateful to GWI for this generous act of kindness,” said Mad. Angela, the home mistress of St. elizabeths home. “These donations go beyond material value — they give our children confidence, dignity, and a sense that they are not forgotten.”

The “Clothe A Child” initiative is a key part of GWI’s mission to uplift underserved children through compassion, practical support, and community partnership. With the involvement of the social welfare department, this project was not only successful but also strategically aligned with the organizations mission.

GWI’s leadership emphasized the importance of such projects in creating sustainable impact. “This is more than a one-time gift — it’s a message to these children that their dreams matter,” said Mad. Priscilla, president of GWI.

As the project continues to expand, GWI calls on individuals and organizations to join in their mission of transforming lives through simple, yet powerful acts of giving.
