Project Name: Clothe a Child Project
Date: April 26th
Beneficiary: St. Elizabeth Home, Jamaicaso Aburi, Ghana

Project Overview

Millions of people worldwide struggle to afford basic necessities, including clothing. Donating clothes to an NGO n isn’t just about clearing out your closet—it’s about making a tangible difference in someone’s life. Here’s how: Clothe a Child is a charitable initiative by Giving World International aimed at supporting underprivileged children by providing them with essential clothing and food items. This project seeks to collect and donate to the children residing at St. Elizabeth Home in Jamaicaso Aburi, Ghana, ensuring they have the necessary resources for a healthier and more comfortable life.

Why clothing donations matter

  • Providing Essentials: Many families face financial hardships that leave them unable to afford adequate clothing. Donated clothes provide them with essential items for work, school, and daily life.

  • Boosting Confidence: Clean, well-fitting clothes can restore a sense of dignity and self-worth, especially for individuals seeking employment or attending interviews.
  • Promoting Sustainability: Reusing and recycling clothes reduces waste and minimizes the environmental impact of textile production.
